Logistics
One to two weeks before the photo shoot we will connect for a 60 minute online or in person meeting to prepare. We will work this around your calendar and mine. You can choose online or in person.
In this meeting we will discuss:
· Your gear of choice
· Any previous experience you have with wildlife photography.
· What you can expect the day of the shoot
· Any other questions you have
The Workshop will conclude after 2 hours at 6pm
Please Note: While weather delays are unlikely, they are still possible. In general cloud cover creates diffused light and can be desirable. Even light to moderate rain will not prevent us from continuing the workshop. In some cases it can enhance photos when it can be leveraged to add a uniqe component.
Physical Requirements
We will be on some hard surfaces and gravel and dirt paths. The area is accessible for most levels of ability. There are several steps up and down on the trails (fewer than 10). If you have concerns reach out to me before registering.
Group Sizes
Class size for this workshop will be limited to 6. Maintaining this small class size ensures that your will have ample opportunity to ask questions about your techniques, the environment and receive personalized assistance from your guide.
Weather
Dress in layers as the temperature may fluctuate during the workshop. An outer shell that is waterproof is recommended.
Please Note:
If your camera and lenses are not weather resistant (water-proof) to some extent, rain-gear for your camera is recommended. See recommendation for an affordable option in the list below.
